Meet the Watermill Wolves
All our dogs live in the home as family pets with degree-qualified behaviourist and trainer Natalie Lagstrom, founder of Naturally Pets.
Winston Wolfe
Stats:
Breed: North AID Lupine
Born: 2015
Height: 29 inches
Weight: 47kg
An amazing imported wolfdog, all the way from USA. He’s our ’North American’ look wolfie, massive and powerful, yet superbly athletic. He’s super social and friendly, and is convinced already that he’s the new star of the show!
Summer Sunbeam
Stats:
Breed: North AID Lupine
Born: 2015
Height: 29”
Weight: 47kg
The Gentle Lady Summer is the ever-patient mother of the other Watermill Wolves British Lupines. She has schooled her puppies in acting skills (they appeared in a Your Dog spread with her shot on our property at just 4 months of age!) and is our ‘contact education dog’ for the very young or infirm or those with special needs. She is an excellent demonstrator dog for first aid/handling courses!
Little Miss
Stats:
Breed: British Lupine
Born: 2011
Height: 27”
Weight: 30kg
Health tests: clear
Sister to Mister Wolf, Little Miss is a cheeky, playful monkey. She loves her training and excels in agility and rally as well as her acting tricks, and is also pretty good at her distance training and retrieve work.
Shady Lady
Stats:
Breed: Saarloos wolfhound
Born: 2013
Height: 27.5”
Weight: 35kg
A delicate flower when you first meet her, the real Shady will come to play when she gets to know you! She’s quick-witted and cuddly, and trots with a beautiful natural lope. Shady’s still a baby and has a lot of growing up to do, but her first steps are very promising!
Artemis
Stats:
Breed: American Mix Lupine
Born: 2015
Height: 26 inches
Weight: 35kg
This elegant wolfie girl has the most incredible wolfie movement and a fabulous neck ruff. She’s super gentle and loving, but don’t let her delicate persona fool you, she keeps Winston in line!
Although these dogs aren't 'wolves' they play a big part in the Watermill Wolves pack
The Rommie Rascals
The Rommies love to romp and play with the Wolfies – but while they may be running flat out, the Wolfies are just strolling along! The Rommies are great for encouraging the young Wolfies to play gently with smaller dogs.
The Crestie Royal Family
The Cresties are small and delicate – but fast and athletic and with an attitude to match! They love to play with the small wolfie babies, and the wolfie babies quickly learn to give this little family their space if asked!
